Batman is so earnest, charging into the country club, getting excited when he
solves a riddle, shouting threats at the Joker.
Ah, the importance of being earnest.
Unfortunately, this episode is surprisingly weak, especially for a Joker
episode.
The Zen of Camp:
Joker, to his henchwoman: “Have you
gone soft, my little savage?”
The Maharaja: “Pay
to the order of Battman.”
Batman: “One t.”
Other Notes:
If you’re going to feature a golf
course, at least find a way to get Batman swinging some clubs! A “bat hole” in one, dueling putters…
something.
